Saifuddin Joins Chorus Pushing For Muhyiddin Exit Wants Azmin Out Too

Indera Mahkota MP Saifuddin Abdullah has joined the ranks of those openly calling for Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin to step down and make way for new leadership.
He has also turned against his former PKR ally, Bersatu secretary-general Azmin Ali, saying he must be removed from the post to rid the party of moral problems which impact its reputation.
This is believed to be in reference to Azmin's sex video scandal six years ago, which has become ammunition in the fight to control Bersatu.
Saifuddin and six other Bersatu division leaders also want Bersatu information chief Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz to be replaced.
ADSSaifuddin made his views known in a statement that was also signed by the Bersatu division leaders for Pasir Salak, Puchong, Dungun, Jasin, and Selayang.
Saifuddin is the third lawmaker to publicly turn against Muhyiddin. The other two are Tasek Gelugor MP Wan Saiful Wan Jan and Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal.
Wan Saiful was axed from Bersatu last week, while Wan Fayhsal was suspended.

Another PKR leader against Muhyiddin?
Instead, Wan Saiful said they only wanted Muhyiddin to abide by a succession plan that would make Hamzah Zainudin the new party president.
On Friday, Saifuddin had also demanded Muhyiddin come clean on the whereabouts of the latter's fugitive son-in-law, Adlan Berhan. Adlan is wanted in a graft case and is reportedly living in luxury while hiding in a Middle Eastern country.
The statement signed by Saifuddin also reported the attendance of several other division leaders at an anti-Muhyiddin roadshow today.
This includes former Batu Pahat MP Rashid Hasnon, who was also at Wan Saiful's press conference last month. Malaysiakini has contacted Rashid for comment.
Saifuddin and Rashid both followed Azmin out of PKR in 2020 during the Sheraton Move crisis - and joined Bersatu together.
