Wild Boar Goes Viral For Crashing Into A Wedding Feast Haram Or A Statement For More Sustainability

BEING an event organiser is not easy. While the guests are having a ball of a time, there is a good deal of problem solving and trouble shooting behind the scene, all to ensure a smooth run.
However, we all realise that even the best plan can go awry. But who could have guessed that the complication would come in the shape of a feral wild boar crashing into the unsuspecting guests in a feast?
Take it from netizen @brgsjks who posted a recent video on X. Link at: https://x.com/brgsjks/status/1979865458393428022
The brief video which showed an angry wild boar causing pandemonium in a Malay feast has garnered over 2,100 reposts and a good number of comments that are downright hilarious.
“Now I understand why people who drive fast are called pigs. Thank you for sharing,” said netizen @AddinJailani while @P3JA_08 requested that the video be edited by having a soundtrack from the Motor GP.

The winning comment probably went to @korzuen, who surmised that it was likely a wedding feast.

Then there were several others pointing out the way the parents were holding on to their child when the pig decided to charge them.
“I’m sorry but holding a baby that small without supporting the baby’s head? I used to get lectures from elders on how to hold babies properly. Hope they checked on the baby,” said a concerned @arialovesmyg.
Away from all the jokes and humour, the appearance of the wild boar raises the concern about urban development encroaching into the habitat of these wild animals.
Wild animals by default would stay away from all the noise coming from human activity. The fact that an animal would go against its natural instincts to enter a space filled with humans shows just how desperate the creature is in its attempt to search for food. — Focus Malaysia
