Minister Fahmi Thanks 123 Companies For Pouring Rm22m Into 2025 National Day Celebrations

More than 100,000 visitors flooded Dataran Putrajaya to celebrate the 2025 National Day celebration which took place in a lively and smooth manner on August 31. — File picture by Miera ZulyanaPUTRAJAYA, Oct 23 — The sponsorship contribution of more than RM22 million to make the National Day and Malaysia Day 2025 (HKHM 2025) celebrations a success is very commendable, said Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
The chairman of the HKHM 2025 Celebration Main Committee expressed his appreciation to the Sponsorship Committee which obtained the contribution as a result of collaboration and strategic cooperation with various corporate, private and industry entities.
Overall, the Ministry of Communications through the Sponsorship Committee received sponsorship contributions of RM22.31 million, which is RM1.96 million in cash and RM20.35 million in goods and services for HKHM 2025.
“Alhamdulillah, the contributions from 123 strategic partners are very meaningful to all of us and will certainly cheer up Malaysians who attended the HKHM 2025 celebration.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all the strategic partners of HKHM 2025 who have provided sponsorship contributions and it is hoped that this close cooperation will be continued at next year’s HKHM Celebration,” he said when speaking at the HKHM 2025 appreciation ceremony here yesterday.
Fahmi also expressed confidence that through the cooperation and dedication of all parties, the HKHM celebration in the coming years will be more glorious, lively, and full of the spirit of unity and patriotism.
In the meantime, he said that overall he was very satisfied with the smooth running of the HKHM 2025 celebration and expressed his highest appreciation to all parties involved.
At the ceremony, Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) News Services acting deputy editor-in-chief Mohd Shukri Ishak received a certificate of appreciation from Fahmi for Bernama’s commitment in helping to make HKHM 2025 a success.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah attended the celebration, and were joined by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, both Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof as well as Cabinet members and foreign delegates.
Meanwhile, thousands of people of various races gathered to celebrate the climax of the 2025 Malaysia Day celebration in an atmosphere full of colour, harmony and national spirit at the PICCA Convention Centre@Arena Butterworth, Penang on Sept 16. — Bernama
