WE are not a party with one or two Parliamentary seats. Umno is also not a party feeling 'so small' and so inferior in a political pact.

In fact, we don't need a pact anymore. We can stand on our own. We are not having 13 seats. We are having 48 after some loose heads left for some invalid reasons. So, let them.

Dr Mahathir is in limbo. Managing a coalition marred with so many problems and infightings, its leaving him to no choice but to strengthen PPBM. Forget about Amanah, for the Pas breakaway party under Mat Sabu would not in any mood to be dissolved and absorved into PPBM.

So, he is turning to Umno. By saying that Umno is 'dead and no more in existence', he is cheating himself of the important of the Opposition party - which he led and benifitted for 22 years - to join him in PPBM.

His 'JOIN ME AND YOU ARE SAFE' anecdote is getting well-known. By dragging its president Zahid Hamidi to court (charge first and probe later) will not change Zahid and party members. They would not submit!

Just look at PPBM. The closure of its chapters in few states and divisions is reflective of the bad management within. No other ways for fortifying it, being the only one is to be oppressive on Umno leaders, make them look disgusting in the eyes of the public and irate them.

What a cheap and desperate statement from a prime minister!

Zahid, Khairy Jamaluddin and other Umno MPs were fast in taking jibes at the premier. Who is he to kid? Political vendetta? Most probably but dont make yourself look stupid.

But as Zahid put it, let him say whatever he wants. Time will tell...
