Secure Your P1 Wimax Password

Firstly, what you have to do is to connect to your P1-WiMaX.. For example mine is.. SSID 028866 and the password is 288661FFB0

P1-WiMaX usually will give the default SSID more or less like the one above... usually numbers. 066133... and the password, you just need to remove the zero infront. Then add 1FFB0 behind the SSID.

So if the SSID is 066133, the password is 661331FFB0. P/S: Stealing a P1-WiMaX is superbly easy... you don't need to use softwares...hahah
Aight, enough with the babblings... now is the time to secure your P1-WiMaX wireless.

1. Launch your browser... as for me, I'm using Chromium. You can use whichever you want.

2. Type on the address bar as follows: http://10.1.1.254/. Standard IP for P1-WiMaX Router is 10.1.1.254. If it happens to be different, you have to find your own Router's IP. Done typing the address? Then press ENTER. It will show you something like this below





3. Put in Username and password as follows.

Username: admin
Password: admin123
NOTE: This is the default username and password.. if it's newly bought, then the possibility the user and pass has not changed.. unless if you changed it yourself

4. Once you've put the user and pass, The page will be something like this..




5. Click on networking -->> Wifi


6. Set the user default to user define, multiple SSID set to 1. There's no need to modify the others... unless if you know what you're doing then it's fine by me. Click on Next


7. Set the Common Setting to your preferable name... Example: Ceciput to pisangoreng... It's up to you. Then change the wireless password to something you like, or remember easy in the WEP key space... Note: please jot down your own password /WEP.. to prevent yourself unable to connect to the internet  in the future...

NOTE: WARNING FROM US... PLEASE SET THE SSID AND WEP KEY ONLY... DO NOT MODIFY THE OTHERS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING... NNT JADI PAPER IF ANYTHING HAPPENS, PLEASE DO NOT BLAME US.


8. Click on APPLY..

9. Your P1-WiMaX wireless will reboot itself...

10. Find the SSID name that you've set and enter the new password....
