Perak Dap Youth No Point Debating Mic A Party Malaysians Reject
Perak DAP Youth has taken a swipe at MIC, saying it’s useless to debate a party that is attempting to return to the limelight through cheap tricks.
This came after DAP’s Buntong assemblyperson M Thulsi condemned the circulation of a fake poster stating that she would be debating Perak MIC Youth chief Theeagesh Ganesan, accusing the BN component party of being behind it.
Perak DAP Youth said the fabricated poster constitutes a political provocation intended to divert public attention whilst undermining Thulsi’s credibility.
Whilst noting that debates are supposed to add value to a cause, Perak PKR Youth said there is nothing to be gained from debating a party's track record in serving the Indian community when MIC has none.
ADS"MIC has been part of the government for almost six decades, yet the Indian community still faces long-standing socio-economic challenges and struggles.
“If MIC's track records were truly strong, the reality of life for the Indian community today would tell a very different story.
“However, the truth is MIC has failed to fight for the rights of the community," the youth wing added.

DAP rep M ThulsiThe group said that Thulsi remains committed to serving her constituency and works diligently for all voters and the Indian community.
‘Be sincere, quit online drama’
Perak DAP Youth urged MIC to stop wasting time on making such a move and redirect its efforts towards assisting the public.
"We call upon the MIC to engage in sincere and constructive efforts rather than in online drama and personal attacks," it added.
On Aug 1, it was reported that Theeagesh had challenged Thulsi to a public debate, which would centre on both MIC and DAP's track records in serving the Indian community.

Theeagesh GanesanTheeagesh argued that despite MIC holding only a limited number of parliamentary and state seats during its time in the BN government, it still managed to deliver meaningful progress for the community.
The war of words erupted after Thulsi had suggested MIC exit the Madani government if it felt like an “uninvited guest” - a sentiment echoed by the party’s deputy president M Saravanan. - Mkini
