My comments :
Here is some talk about someone else, ie the fellow who wrote that book.
"When he was about to be charged he went to Putrajaya and cried. Literally. What a clown. G_pal .. was engaged to nail this ba...rd."
"Look at how he wrote against Bossku and is now campaigning for Bossku in Melaka."
"The S.....n B__k episode can also be blamed on h_ _ _band, who N_ _ _ _ paid to lobby B_M"
"He has a private equity fund of RM200m which he jointly managed with D___d C__a, ex E_M L__ra."
OK so again what happened? Nothing happened. Who gives a shit?
"When he was about to be charged he went to Putrajaya and cried. Literally."
You mean if you go and cry then you get to keep the money that you stole?
The thing that irks me is that these people steal taxpayers money, from the government's coffers.
They also have the cheats and thieves in other countries. The US is a good example. But rarely do you find their crooks stealing so much of taxpayers money, and from the government.
Wall Street for example has seen its share of Ivan Boeskys and Michael Millikens - frauds who stole hundreds of millions of US Dollars. But from investors, from the public or from their fellow Wall Street bankers and financiers. They did not steal taxpayers money via the US government.
Meaning their Civil Servants and their rules and laws are pretty tight. The US government is pretty careful at preventing theft of taxpayers money.
But not in this country. Here if they want to steal makcik Kiah's money they will have to break into makcik's Kiah's house at night, tie her up and rob her of her money. That is too much work.
Instead when these smart beggars want to steal millions and billions they head straight for the government offices, the government departments and the government Ministries.
This project, that project, this scheme, that scheme and they run off with hundreds of millions and billions of taxpayers money. Then after that NOTHING HAPPENS. They get to keep plenty of the loot.
Even when they are found out, even if they are charged, then nothing happens. They walk. The money that they stole can also be returned to them. "You must prove the money was stolen". Huh??
You mean the fellow was able to accumulate RM112 Million in six years from his 9-5 job with the government? What was his salary scale?
Why does this happen? One of the (many, many) reasons is because few people pay taxes in this country. Or our numbers are small. When you do not pay taxes you do not feel any loss when taxpayers money gets stolen. 'Itu rezeki dia'. I have heard this. Stealing becomes 'rezeki dia'.
The people must get tired of this. If the people do not get fed up, the stealing will continue.
