Hajiji, the Sabah chief minister, said GRS and PH have agreed to establish an electoral pact for the state polls, Bernama reported.
PH had previously agreed to an electoral pact for the state election with Barisan Nasional.
Sabah BN chief Bung Moktar Radin said the coalition would not work with GRS in the state election, but would only consider cooperation after the outcome of the election.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had, however, hoped that all three coalitions would be able to work together for the polls.
Earlier today, Hajiji said the struggle to build Sabah’s future cannot be bogged down by the opposition’s political vendetta and incitement.
The Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah president said the opposition only knows how to twist the facts when it comes to the state government’s achievements so far.
“They will never appreciate our achievements. All of our efforts will be looked down on, and even undermined and mocked,” he said at Gagasan Rakyat’s general assembly in Kota Kinabalu, according to news portal Sayang Sabah.
He advised Gagasan Rakyat members to be wary of attempts to topple the state administration and sow discord within GRS. - FMT
