Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia (PPIM) menyokong keputusan kerajaan untuk menubuhkan pusat sehenti bagi memudahkan kemasukan urusan pelabur asing ke Malaysia.
Ketua aktivisnya Nadzim Johan berkata PPIM telah menerima banyak aduan daripada Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pelabur Antarabangsa Malaysia.
"Kami ingin meminta kerajaan memandang serius aduan dari pelabur asing dari seluruh dunia dan bukan hanya China," katanya.
Sementara itu, jurucakap Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pelabur Antarabangsa Malaysia berkata pertubuhan itu terpaksa mendapatkan bantuan PPIM yang membantu pelabur dengan banyak isu-isu birokrasi yang membebankan pelabur yang datang ke Malaysia.
"Malaysia telah kehilangan pelabur ke negara-negara seperti Vietnam dan Cambodia dari segi daya tarikan pelaburan dan kecekapan kerajaan," katanya dalam sebuah kenyataan bersama hari ini.
Selain itu, perbezaan dasar dan polisi antara kementerian-kementerian juga menyumbang kepada masalah kepada pelabur.
Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pelabur Antarabangsa Malaysia ditubuhkan bagi membantu memudahkan urusan pelabur asing berkaitan dengan kementerian-kementerian dan polisi agensi kerajaan di negara ini.
Pada hari Ahad, Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed mengumumkan sebuah pusat sehenti akan ditubuhkan tidak lama lagi untuk memudahkan kelulusan aplikasi daripada usahawan asing untuk menubuhkan perniagaan atau melabur di Malaysia.
Mahathir berada di China untuk menyertai 36 pemimpin dunia dan peserta dari 130 negara China sempena Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) atas jemputan Presiden China Xi Jinping.
The Muslim Consumer Association Malaysia (PPIM) applauds the government's decission on setting up a one-stop centre to facilitate the approval of applications from foreign entrepreneurs to set up business or invest in Malaysia.
Its chief activist Nadzim Johan said PPIM has recieved many complaints from International Foreign Investors Welfare Organization Malaysia (IFIG).
" We would like to ask the government to look at grouses from investors from other parts of the world too and not just China,"
A spokesperson for IFIG claims the association has seek PPIM's aid helping investors with many red tape and beuraucratic issues that is halting investor coming to Malaysia.
" Malaysia has lost investors to countries such as Vietnam and Cambodia in term of investment attractiveness and government efficiency," he said in a joint statement here, today.
He also said differing policy between government agencies also cause problems to investors.
International Foreign Investors Welfare Organization Malaysia (IFIG) was set up to assist foreign investors in Malaysia with all issues they face here mostly while dealing with different ministries and government policies.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed announced a one-stop centre will be set up soon to facilitate the approval of applications from foreign entrepreneurs to set up business or invest in Malaysia.
Mahathir went to China to join 36 world leaders and participants from 130 countries at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
