According to those in Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s inner circle, they will be discussing with their lawyers the possibility of suing Muhyiddin Yassin regarding his allegation that Zahid had asked for his help to bury his criminal cases.
Back in 2020, Malaysia Today had revealed that Zahid went to see Muhyiddin to ask him to intervene in his court cases. In 2021, Malaysia Now reported the same thing, and today Malaysiakini quoted Muhyiddin confirming the matter.

Currently, this is a matter of ‘he say-she say’. Muhyiddin’s people insist that Zahid asked for the then prime minister’s help to bury the criminal cases, while Zahid’s people insist no such thing happened.
But then this is not surprising considering Anwar Ibrahim and Azmin Ali also denied their sexual misconduct even though there are video recordings proving they had indulged in sex acts.
According to Muhyiddin’s legal team, they are prepared for Zahid’s legal suit because they are able to prove that Zahid went to meet the prime minister to ask for help in burying the criminal cases.
