The Views Expressed Are Those Of The Writers And Do Not Necessarily Reflect Those Of Fmt
Here is something a friend sent me this morning. I dont know who are these folks in this video but I have seen many such videos before. They are possibly some tareqat group and this looks like Pakistan (or it could be India).
Note that the guy gives some money (well its certainly not chewing gum) to that tok guru fellow. The tok guru or 'maulana' (nauzubillah) then passes the money to the fellow on his left who gives it to the cashier bhai on his left. The cashier bhai keeps track of the 'collections'. No money no religion.
Immediately after giving the tok guru the money the guy goes into his seizures and spasms and suffers (or enjoys) those convulsions and fits.
These are all fakes. Everyone in this video is faking.
These people are lost. They achieve very little in life. So they look for some sense of easy gratification - some jerky movements, some ritualistic movements, some placements of their hands and feet in this position or that position, the assuming of this posture or that posture which seems to give them some simple gratification.
And which is never enough for them - by their own reckoning. Because tomorrow or next week or in a few hours they have to do it again. And again. Still the gratification is temporary. There is no permanent sense of peace or harmony.
The views expressed are those of the writers and do not necessarily reflect those of MMKtT.
