In Malaysia Today’s expose titled ‘FINALLY THE TRUTH EMERGES: What The Two Crooked Bank Negara Governors Hid From Malaysians’ (READ HERE), one name appears very prominently in the list of more than 300 names of Penang Chinese individuals and entities who received RM800 million from 1MDB.
And that name is Low Hock Peng. Hock Peng, who received RM48,456,000.00 from 1MDB, is the father of Low Taek Jho a.k.a. Jho Low.
Jho Low’s father, Low Hock Peng, should have been the first name to be exposed, not only because of the large amount, RM48,456,000.00, but because Jho Low is the key player in the embezzlement of 1MDB’s money — said to be an estimated RM40-50 billion.
One very crucial question that needs answered is: why did 1MDB pay Jho Low’s father more than RM48 million? There must be a reason why 1MDB needed to pay him RM48.456 million. What is the reason? This, we are not being told.
The second and equally crucial question is: why did the two Bank Negara Governors, Zeti Akhtar Aziz and Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus, hide this information?
The MACC investigation has answered this second question of why they hid this information. Jho Low had given Zeti’s husband, Dr Tawfiq Ayman, RM65 million.
