Siti Kasim Integrity Of The Malaysian Justice System Has Gone Down The Drain No Double Standards My Foot

HUMAN rights activist and lawyer Siti Kasim has made Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail eat humble pie over their recent claims that the police do not resort to favouritism or double standards when investigating 3R (race, religion, royalty) cases.
First it was Saifuddin who contradicted the no double standards statement with his admission that the authorities have been closing one eye on the 3R breaches by PAS leaders which then became more obvious with many errant ulama and ustaz being left off the hook for similar offences.

“Seriously, Madani is too coward to act against those who call themselves penceramah agama Islam (Islamic religion speaker),” fumed the Orang Asli advocate in her latest YouTube video entitled “Where Is the Integrity of Our Justice System?”
“The authorities were quick to clamp down on the ERA FM deejay trio or the ‘lowly-educated’ corn seller but once you call yourself a politician who is a defender of the Islamic faith, the Madani government will be terrified.”
By elevating controversial Muslim/Muslim convert preachers to the level of ‘untouchables’ has certainly emboldened Zamri Vinoth as evident in the recent Thaipusam gaffe saga perpetrated by the ERA FM deejay trio.
“What was spoken by Zamri Vinoth in his latest controversy is not one of comparative religion but an insult to kavadi bearers as they are deemed to be both possessed and drunk on toddy,” observed Siti Kasim.
“His boldness is reflected by the fact that after Meta brought down his Facebook post, he still has the cheek to re-post his demeaning post without fear of repercussion.
“The same applies to his peers like Ridhuan Tee, Firdaus Wong, Zakir Naik and Syakir Nasoha who have continued to ply their trade unscathed despite having blatantly belittling and undermining other religions in the pretext of comparative religion.”
Lim Ju Vynn
Taking her integrity discourse to the next level, Siti Kasim further slammed the police and the Home Ministry for their swift ruling out of foul play by classifying the death of the late customs tribunal officer Lim Ju Vynn as “sudden death”.

“This is short of claiming that the deceased committed suicide; the insinuation that there is no criminal element is seriously inconceivable,” she lambasted.
“On the day the body was found with the deceased’s legs tied and neck strangled, how could the police have classified the case as sudden death and no foul play prior to a post-mortem?
“Even though the post-mortem confirmed strangulation, the cops still rule out criminal element. Given that Ju Vynn died in a security-tight office, where is the CCTV to monitor movement?”
Drawing the former deputy public prosecutor’s (DPP) death probe by the police to her personal car bomb incident two years ago, Siti Kasim has the following to elaborate about integrity in the Malaysian justice system:
Actually our cops are very efficient if they want to unless they’ve been instructed to cover up something … look at my own case of a bomb beneath my car … the case has remained unsettled after two years with nobody updating me on investigation progress.
We have to seriously question where is the integrity of our cops and Home Ministry as our safety hinges on them … if these people fail to carry out their duty, not transparent or have double standards, how are we going to trust them to run this country?
Right now, I’ve no faith with the police enforcement because I’m worried that they’ll be the perpetrators towards whatever that may happen to me.
Don’t worry about my case which is deemed petty but what happen to Ju Vynn’s case where a DPP who work in a controversial department has died of strangulation … Where are the voices of our MPs?
To be honest, I’m very angry in the way the Madani government is running the investigation, prosecution … they don’t care about the public, hence I call on Malaysians to show them what they deserve in the next general election.” – Focus Malaysia
