Should Colour Pencils Have A Kkm Logo On Them To Be Safe

ANYTHING can happen in a live streaming session, especially when there are a good number of trolls lurking among the netizens on the cyberspace.
But who is complaining when it is free comedy without the Netflix subscription? Recently a poor lady became the brunt of a joke while she was doing her live stream, trying to sell a bunch of colour pencils.
Apparently, a follower on TikTok inquired if her products have the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) logo on them. “It’s just colour pencils. Does it need to have a KKM logo,” she said, face scrunched up in consternation.
“I have never seen the KKM logo on colour pencils,” she added.
Jahat betul siapa yang komen tanya ada logo KKM ke tak tu.. Kawan pun lurus, nak menangis dia cari tak jumpa.. pic.twitter.com/BFQuCZPQxg

It was indeed a light moment on the cyber space. Netizen @hasry90 who saw the video pointed out that comments on TikTok can be very random and that the people there have all sorts of behaviour.

“Just be patient,” he said. A sympathetic @Cikpajelina observed that the question was so mind-boggling that the lady was scratching her head which wasn’t even itchy, as can be seen during the end of the video.

Another netizen remarked that luckily, they didn’t ask her if those colour pencils have the Halal logo on them.
With all that vibrant colour, a child could be compelled to make a snack out of these colour pencils. But perhaps the full story has yet to be revealed.
Netizen @afialiuddin conjectured that the person was asking about KK Mart, not KKM. “He was asking how much KK Mart was selling these,” he said. It is hard to determine, though, if his comment was intended to be sarcastic or genuine.
Finally, there was @maisarahzarnin who said the netizen should have asked if the product had a SIRIM logo instead of KKM.
According to SIRIM, products bearing its certification mark demonstrate that it is in compliance with national and international standards.
“Thus, it provides the user with an assurance for safety and reliability,” said SIRIM. Now we can all run over to our colour pencils and start searching for the relevant logo.
Then again, has there always been a SIRIM logo on coloring pencils? There shall be a good deal of head scratching for us today. — Focus Malaysia
