Police Say Note Left On Murdered Bandar Utama Schoolgirl
Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar today confirmed that a handwritten note was found on the body of the 16-year-old schoolgirl who was fatally stabbed at a secondary school in Bandar Utama yesterday.
The note is believed to have been left by her 14-year-old suspected assailant.
“On the victim’s body,” Malay Mail reported Shazeli saying in a brief response, when asked whether the suspect had left one and where it was discovered.
The content of the note was not disclosed by the police.
However, the alleged note has been widely circulating online.
Shazeli reportedly said that the suspect had also harboured feelings for the victim prior to the incident.
‘Suspect, victim barely knew each other’
He said that the female student was, however, unaware of the boy’s emotions, describing it as a case of him keeping his feelings bottled up.
“The suspect had feelings for the victim but did not share them with her, so it was more of a case of bottling up his feelings.
“The victim is believed to have been unaware of the situation,” Malay Mail reported him as saying during a press conference on the incident.
Shazeli added that the suspect and the victim barely knew each other.
He also confirmed that the suspect had used a multi-purpose knife, which he had bought online, to stab the victim multiple times in the chest and neck.

Yesterday, the female student died after being stabbed by the alleged assailant at their school.
The suspect also reportedly attacked his other classmates. He has been remanded for seven days for investigation.
This case came barely two weeks after another disturbing incident in Malacca, where four teenagers were arrested for allegedly raping a Form Three student in a classroom on Oct 2.
Police obtained a six-day remand order against the suspects on Oct 11. They are being investigated under Section 375B of the Penal Code for gang rape.
Earlier, Perikatan Nasional lawmakers urged authorities to launch a thorough investigation into the death of a Standard Four pupil who was found unconscious in a school toilet in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan, earlier this month and later pronounced dead. - Mkini
