The WHO puts around 1.35 million people globally perished on the roads every year or around 3,500 lives lost daily
The United Nations agency estimates there will be 2 million deaths by 2030 if it is business as usual in the efforts to reduce road crashes by the UN member countries and it can cost many countries up to 3% of their domestic gross revenue. - FMT
