Not Everyone In Pas Wants To Wait Until They Die To Receive Their Reward In Heaven
Yes, most people (such as Christians and Muslims) are good because they have been promised a place in heaven if they are good. If there was no heaven, then most will be worse than Satan that even Satan will blush with shame. So they become pious and holy because they expect a reward.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Umno, PKR, DAP, Bersatu, Gerakan, etc., may deny it till the cows come home, but the truth is, ALL politicians are for sale one way or another. It may not always be for cash. It could be for power, position, or a guarantee of a place in heaven. But eventually everyone will be for sale one way or another. Nobody does things because they have a nice heart.
Yes, most people (such as Christians and Muslims) are good because they have been promised a place in heaven if they are good. If there was no heaven, then most will be worse than Satan that even Satan will blush with shame. So they become pious and holy because they expect a reward.
Even PAS is not exempted. Three times in history PAS has broken up into Berjasa, Hamim, and Amanah when those who were more interested in wealth, power and position left the party for the sake of worldly rewards. They felt that waiting to die to receive their rewards in heaven was too long and they wanted to receive their rewards now while they are still alive.
So, yes, politicians change sides because they gain something. No one does this for the sake of God, King and Country. And politicians also change sides because they did not get what they wanted, so they try their luck with the other side.

Umno did not offer any gifts to two ex-Bersatu reps to leave party, says sec-gen
(Bernama) – Umno did not offer any gifts or rewards to the two Johor Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) state assemblymen who left the party, said Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.
Ahmad, who is also Pontian MP, said that so far they had yet to receive any applications from the two indviduals to join Umno.
“No gifts were promised, they quit Bersatu voluntarily and with a clear conscience, without us promising them anything it was of their own free will.
“However, we thank them for their support for the Mentri Besar (Datuk Hasni Mohammad) and Barisan Nasional (BN),” he told reporters after attending a meeting with the Malaysia Makkal Sakti Party here today that was also attended by Makkal Sakti president Datuk Seri RS Thanenthiran
Ahmad said this when asked if the two former Bersatu assemblymen had applied to join Umno after announcing their resignation from the party.
On Thursday (January 27), former Puteri Wangsa assemblyman Mazlan Bujang, who was also the state Education, Information, Heritage and Culture Committee chairman, announced his resignation as the party’s Tebrau division chief and quitting the party with immediate effect.
Yesterday, former Larkin assemblyman Datuk Mohd Izhar Ahmad, who is also State Investment, Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Human Resources Committee chairman, announced that he had quit the party with immediate effect.
Commenting on PAS and Bersatu contesting in the coming Johor state election as Perikatan Nasional (PN), Ahmad said he wasn’t surprised as it was expected.
“Seems like they are repeating what happened in Melaka, so in the political dynamics, we are surely ready for any eventualities. Prior to this, we did not say that the Muafakat Nasional (MN) cooperation was final, but yesterday when PAS joined Bersatu in PN, I don’t see any space (for collaboration).
“Whatever it is, we must continue to work hard and not be overconfident,” he said.
Yesterday, PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, after the Muzakarah PAS Bersatu 2022, said that PAS and Bersatu would contest in the Johor polls under PN and all component parties would also use the coalition’s logo in the election.
