Motorist Escapes Death By Several Inches In Horrific Video

WHAT defines fortune? For some people, it is winning the jackpot with a prize of RM10 mil or more, and retiring at the age of 28 years old.
But for some people, good luck can be as simple as avoiding sudden death by several inches. For a better perspective, readers can check this video post on X by netizen @dahfollowbelum.

In the six-seconds video, a motorist could be seen passing right under a heavy metal scaffolding before it collapsed behind him. Looking at the bulk of the metal, the man would have suffered serious injury or even death had he been slower by a second.
Without a doubt he had several angels singing on his shoulders that day. The same, however, cannot be said for the two cars behind him who struck it after it crashed.
But at least the added protection from the car should shield them from injury unlike the motorist who only had the shirt on his back. He will need more than a helmet to weather all that metal.
According to netizen @dahfollowbelum who posted the video, the scaffold was part of the ECRL project. We can only hope the relevant authorities are generous in handing out compensation to rectify the damages suffered by the road users.
As for the motorist, we think he is only too happy to be safe from harm. Fortune, after all, comes in many shapes and sizes. Sometimes, winning a lottery isn’t the pinnacle of luck. You can’t spend a dime if you are dead.
Fortune could be something as simple as being given the opportunity to live another day. — Focus Malaysia
