Reuters reported Israel had launched air strikes on Gaza in response to a Hamas rocket attack on Monday. An Egypt-brokered truce has since been reached between both parties
“We hope that Israel would respect the United Nations decision that Gaza is rightfully owned by Palestine. Our stand on Gaza is clear, which is the occupation and colonialism by Israel on Gaza must stop
“We will discuss a motion to condemn Israel similar to the one carried out in 2012,” Mujahid said at the Al Malik Khalid Mosque at Universiti Sains Malaysia here today

It also urged the UN Security Council to fulfil its responsibility and hold Israel accountable for crimes committed against the Palestinians
Mujahid also said a national-level Yasin recitation will be held on April 4 to remember those being oppressed in Palestine and to protect the holy sites of Al Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque
