Communications and Multimedia Minister Gobind Singh Deo warned of stern action against people circulating on social media messages pertaining to the trouble near the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in USJ 25, Subang Jaya, early Monday and yesterday
“The information will be given to me soon so that I can study it in detail,” he told reporters at the Parliament lobby

He said every citizen had a role to play in ensuring the issue is addressed in the best way possible and they should be careful when sharing comments on social media so as to avoid causing undesirable problems
In the disturbances early Monday and yesterday, a mob attacked devotees, police and firefighters. As a result, 23 cars and motorcycles were torched. The offices of the developer, One City, were also vandalised. One of the firefighters was injured and hospitalised
