JDT ready to vroom with Aston Martin
Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have teamed up with world-renowned Aston Martin Racing Asia.
The partnership will see Aston Martin release a limited edition JDT-themed design for the range of cars that will be sold by the club.
The venture is touted as “champions in respective fields teaming up” as JDT are seven-time consecutive Super League winners while Aston Martin Racing are last year’s Le Mans Endurance champions.
“We are proud and delighted to have reached an agreement with the brand’s headquarters in the United Kingdom and Asia office,” said the club in a statement.
“The partnership with the British auto racing outfit is not only very valuable monetarily to JDT, but is also a deep-rooted relationship that is going to develop opportunities for JDT, Johor and Aston Martin Racing in various areas over the coming years.”
Among the other brands already on board with the Southern Tigers are Unicef, Nike, Hublot, Subway, F&N and SWAG EV.
JDT’s ties with international brands also signify the club’s significant growth in brand power and stature both domestically and internationally since Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim established JDT in 2013. Nst
