Frankenstein Nasi Lemak Cendol Fusion Goes Viral Netizens Are Unforgiving

CAN we ever say no the iconic nasi lemak or the thirst-quenching cendol on a sultry afternoon?
Growing up in Malaysia, these delicacies are likely to be among the top of our list despite their simpleness. Or perhaps it is their simpleness that makes them all the more charming.
So what happens when we take the nasi lemak and cendol and merge it into a single meal? Yay or nay?
That is exactly what happened in a video post on X by netizen brgsjks, where the meal is strangely being presented in a glass.
Unsurprisingly, the majority of the online community have only criticisms for this frankenstein meal, with some bordering on the comedy.
“Serious and curious question here. Is this an example of making fun of food? That food is being made fun of and that wastage will make the brain grow more creative and developed?” asked ᗰI.

Another netizen suggested that the person should be hanged upside down alive and made to eat nasi lemak in this condition.
kalzerd wanted to know the location of the place so he could go over and slap him while Karipap_Frozen suggested 30 years in prison with no parole.

“Hopefully he chokes and sneezes out sambal from his nose,” said Hellies. The criticisms continued with the picture comments which were comedy gold.

Then there was Ooi Beng Cheang who said that the meal was actually time saving. “Everything is eaten in one glass. Going to the toilet is easy and everything comes out at the same time,” he said.

“I think I understand the concept. Even if you eat it separately, everything meets in the stomach,” said K.A.
These are all very pertinent insights but we would like to remind that having all of them meeting in the same stomach is quite different than eating them separately where their tastes together would be a terrible conflict. —Focus Malaysia
