Dap S Survival Depends On Malay Chinese Disunity

If Malaysia does achieve racial harmony and religious understanding, DAP will die just like MCA and Gerakan. Why do the Chinese need DAP if the Malays-Muslims are their friends? “We believe that Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and his message of unity is still best suited for a Sabah that is known for its racial harmony and religious understanding. We must continue to carry the torch of unity to light up the future for our children,” said DAP’s Lim Guan Eng (READ MORE BELOW).
Guan Eng’s statement is utter nonsense. As the Malays would say, buat sedap dengar saja.
MCA was wiped out in the Sabah state election yesterday while DAP won six out of the seven seats it contested. How was that possible?

Malays and Muslims must be seen as a threat to the Chinese for DAP to survive DAP’s survival depends on disunity between the Malays and Chinese. If Malaysia really achieves “racial harmony and religious understanding”, as what Guan Eng said, then DAP would become irrelevant and would no longer get a monopoly of the Chinese votes.
Malays need to be seen as right-wing, racial, radical and extreme, in both nationalism and religion. If Malays are seen as moderate, multicultural, pluralistic and centrist, then they would not be perceived as a threat to the Chinese and hence DAP would not be required.
In the Malaya of the Merdeka era in the 1940s and 1950s, there was no serious conflict between the Malays and the non-Malays. It was not until DAP was formed in 1965 that racial politics began to flourish, resulting four years later in “May 13”.
If DAP had not been born in 1965 would there have been any “May 13” in 1969? Probably not because there would not have been any Chinese opposition to provoke the Malays with their “go back to the kampong” and “the towns belong to the Chinese” rhetoric.
Of course the towns and cities belong to the Chinese. That was proven in Sabah yesterday and in all 14 general elections since 1959. And it will be proven again in GE15. Around 90-95% of the Chinese vote DAP and since the Chinese dominate the towns and cities that means DAP would win in all the towns and cities. Logic!
And it will be DAP and not MCA or Gerakan who will win the Chinese votes because DAP has successfully brainwashed the Chinese into believing that MCA and Gerakan are running dogs of the Malays. That was why Gerakan left Barisan Nasional and MCA almost did the same. They wanted to demonstrate to the Chinese that they are not Malay or Umno running dogs.

DAP’s fortunes lie in Malay-Chinese disunity No, DAP cannot afford for Malaysia to achieve racial harmony and religious understanding. That is what they say, of course, to look good. It is just like Anwar Ibrahim saying he opposes cronyism while his cronies became millionaires when he was the Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
If Malaysia does achieve racial harmony and religious understanding, DAP will die just like MCA and Gerakan. Why do the Chinese need DAP if the Malays-Muslims are their friends? They only need DAP when the Malays-Muslims are seen as a threat to the Chinese and Indians. That is how it works and that is how DAP succeeds.

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said although Warisan Plus, led by Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal did not manage to secure a majority in the state election to form the new state government, the journey to ensure a better future for Sabahans does not end here.
“We believe that Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and his message of unity is still best suited for a Sabah that is known for its racial harmony and religious understanding.”
“We must continue to carry the torch of unity to light up the future for our children,” he said in a statement this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Lim thanked all voters who supported DAP in the state election which concluded yesterday.
Despite failing to secure all seven seats contested, Lim thanked voters and supporters from six state seats Luyang, Kapayan, Likas, Tanjung Papat, Sri Tanjung and Elopura, which gave the party increased majorities compared to its performance in the 14th General Election (GE14).
“DAP performed creditably by winning six out of seven state seats contested under the Warisan Plus flag.”
“We thank our voters and supporters in Luyang, Kapayan, Likas, Tanjung Papat, Sri Tanjung and Elopura who gave us increased majorities.”
“As for our failure in Bingkor, we will continue our efforts to serve to prove our sincerity to the locals there,” said Lim.
