Covid 19 More Recoveries Than New Cases 17 Deaths

COVID-19 | The Health Ministry recorded 3,318 new cases of Covid-19 today and 17 deaths.
The number of patients discharged (3,505) was higher than the new cases, resulting in 204 fewer active cases.

Active cases: 51,579
Patients in ICU:  258
Intubated:  119Like yesterday, a majority of new cases in Kedah (72 percent) and Johor (51 percent) are from new clusters.
Deaths
The nationwide death toll is now 953.

Of the 17 deaths today, eight were from the Klang Valley.
Selangor had six deaths and Kuala Lumpur two, followed by Sabah (2) Sarawak (2), Perak (1), Johor (1), Malacca (1) Pahang (1), and Kelantan (1).
One of the deceased is a foreigner.
The youngest victim recorded today was 54.
Clusters

There were 14 new clusters today, bringing the total number of active clusters to 484.
The Tanjung Suria cluster, first detected last December, recorded 258 new cases bringing its total to 2,052 cases.
The Jalan Seelong cluster in Johor had 326 new cases while Kedah's Selambau cluster had 136 new cases.
