Chinese National Lambo Owner Jpj Never Arrested Me Might Sue Fake News Spreaders For Ruining My Biz Repute

THE Chinese national in the centre of the Lamborghini Aventador controversy has come forward to claim that he possesses a valid international driving permit.
This follows allegation by some Malaysian news portals and social media sites that he was arrested and that his mid-engine two-passenger sports car was seized by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) because he had no driving license.
The 28-year-old man who identified himself as Deng Sheng further clarified that he did not manage to produce my international driving license on the spot on the day of the JPJ roadblock (purportedly in Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur during a special integrated operation in conjunction with Hari Raya 2025 on Tuesday [April 8]).
“I explained this to the JPJ officers, and they were friendly and professional at all times,” he related the entire incident he a media statement issued through Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng.

An article that appeared in MStar of April 9 , 2025“I was given a summons for not carrying my permit, after which I was allowed to leave. I was never arrested and my car was not taken away”
While he has settled the matter with JPJ, he claimed that false news flow of his “detention/arrest” has caused much hardship for him.
“It has affected my reputation, my business and my personal life,” he revealed. “People have been calling and asking about it non-stop. Some media also wrongly called me a social media influencer which I am not.”
He added: “I want to make it clear that I was treated fairly by the JPJ officers but the media responsible in spreading falsehood have caused me stress and damage.
“Because of this, I reserve all my legal rights to take action against those who have harmed my name and reputation. Please stop spreading false news. Let’s respect the truth.” – Focus Malaysia
