Just like the Hamas war is being guided by the Muslim Brotherhood in Qatar, Turkey and elsewhere the war in Ukraine is being run on a day to day basis by the British from GCHQ in Cheltenham.

BMW's business in China is facing a significant slump due to intensified competition from local electric vehicle (EV) makers like BYD, a challenging economic environment, and a price war. Sales have declined substantially, and BMW's market position is being squeezed by domestic rivals offering high-tech, affordable EVs, leading to lower profits and challenging market conditions for the brand.  

 Key reasons for BMW's business loss in China:

Competition from Local EV Makers: Chinese brands such as BYD and Xiaomi are rapidly gaining market share by offering advanced and affordable electric vehicles, directly competing with foreign manufacturers. 

Intensified Price War: A fierce price war in China's auto market is contributing to declining sales for brands like BMW.

Natural gas, oil, metals, other natural resources, machinery made up a huge part of Russian-German trade. All that has disappeared. Now Germany pays up to FOUR times the amount for natural gas. There are no more German exports going to Russia. All this makes German goods more expensive - they have priced themselves out of the market.
China has stepped in to buy all the gas and oil that Russia can sell to them. Plus metals, ores and anything else that Russia can sell to China. Plus the Chinese motor industry especially their EVs are advancing by leaps and bounds. 
So the Germany-China trade deficit has shot up 143% in China's favour. And famous German carmakers like BMW are losing a ton of business not only in China but Chinese EVs are now outselling German EVs in Germany. 
So the Russian sanctions have been suicidal for Germany but immensely profitable for China. If you are not smart then this is what happens.
