Welcome to the Asia Food Festival 2019 that is happening from 14th June 2019 until 14th July 2019 at the Big Apple Restaurant, Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Come, let me bring you to travel throughout the mystical Asia through a gastronomic journey here!

This festival which are no doubt will be a good “plate-form” to feature some of the best dishes in Asian cuisine that ranging from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Philippines, Japan, India and Cambodia which a key ingredient that makes Asian food authentically special and exquisite!

Did you know, that Asian food is not only delicious in taste but also rather good for health? One of the differences between traditional Asian foods, compared to many other cuisines is that they are not typically as processed as western food usually is and the ingredients are typically more natural and grown without the use of very many chemicals. This means less intervention and natural growth, which makes the end result better for our health and less saturated with processed fats and carbohydrates.
Special Cuisines from Asian Countries
This time round, there will be also highlights on food stalls of different Asia countries showcasing the uniqueness on various types of Asian cuisines from Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Myanmar and Thailand.  
Delicacies available on the stalls include; Vietnamese spring roll, Chicken prahok dip, Kare kare, Som tom, Tom yam gong, Pad thai live station, Burmese vegetable bitter curd tempura, Bun cha, Vietnamese pancake, dim sum, sushi, and more.

Besides indulging in a sumptuous spread, patrons will be entertained with numerous cultural activities which include Teh Tarik & Flying Roti Canai performance during dinner, daily cultural dance performance and cooking classes by Festive Chefs on every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday at 7.00pm.  





Over at Big Apple Restaurant, there will be a scrumptious spread of Asian cuisines that will entice your taste buds. The buffet spread serves a sumptuous buffet dinner delicacies with an endless choice of more than 150 gourmet delights. Let's have a look at the rest of them!
Indulge in a total Asian experience dishes, such as; Itik masak kari kentang, Ikan merah berlada cili hijau, Braised lamb ‘Navarin’ with spring vegetables, Pan-stirred Vietnamese chicken ginger, Southern Thai beef curry, Pan- seared seabass fillet with hoisin sauce, Udang masak lemak cili padi, Beef massaman curry, and many more!

One of the methods of cooking that is unique for these cuisines is that they use a mixture of salt and sugar in our foods; compared to most cooking methods as these ingredients usually work against each other, if mixed in the right amounts and with the right ingredients and meats, the mixture can provide a unique taste that is distinguishable from each of the Asia’s food servings. Hence one each of the food is specialised and unique on its own

Price The Asia Food Festival dinner buffet is available at :
RM108 nett per adult 
RM54 nett for child (aged 4-11 years old) and senior citizen aged 60 years old onwards.
Patrons will be privileged with a Buy 2 Free 1 special for dine-in from 8.00pm onwards.
