All Seven New Covid 19 Clusters Came From Peninsular

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said total number of active clusters currently stands at 276.
"From the total, 78 clusters recorded new cases today. The Beringin cluster contributed the highest number of cases today (177 cases), while the Sungai Putus and Pasai clusters each reported 157 new cases," he said in a statement today.
The Jalan Rantau-Siliau cluster in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, logged the highest number of cases over the past 24 hours with 96 cases.
Positive cases from the cluster was recorded on Jan 10 after a targeted screening at a factory.
Another workplace cluster, the Selayang cluster, was detected in the Gombak district in Selangor. Positive cases were detected from a targeted screening at a supermarket in Jalan Selayang Baru.
Out of the 511 people tested, 84 were positive.
Tropika cluster in Johor Baru recorded positive cases on Jan 9, following screening of detainees at a detention centre and their close contacts. As of Jan 14, 55 individuals were tested positive.
Pasir Barat cluster is the second cluster from Johor. It involves the Johor Bahru and Kota Tinggi districts, with 92 positive cases recorded so far following a targeted screening at a project site in Pasir Gudang.
In Kuala Lumpur, a construction site cluster has been identified in the Kepong district. The Dutamas construction site cluster recorded 18 cases today, with the index case was tested positive on Jan 12.
Another cluster in the city is the Jalan Pahang cluster, involving the Kepong, Titiwangsa, Lembah Pantai and Cheras districts. Six cases have been reported as of noon today.
Meanwhile, in Perak, the index case for Intan Mas cluster in the Hilir Perak district was tested positive on Jan 8. To date, 15 individuals were tested positive from this cluster.
Dr Noor Hisham also said the Huma cluster in Kelantan ended today. - NST
