Economic stimulus package will likely proceed - Guan Eng3.55pm: Former finance minister Lim Guan Eng says interim Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has indicated that an economic stimulus package which was in the works before Sunday's coup, will likely proceed
"Mahathir indicated that the economic stimulus package will go ahead on a date to be announced by him," Lim says in a brief statement
Lim had met Mahathir earlier this morning to discuss the stimulus package and other matters

According to Chow, there is a possibility of two Bersatu assemblypersons leaving Pakatan Harapan in Penang
"If they vacate their seats, they will be subjected to the 2012 Anti-Hopping Law, which calls for by-elections," Chow says, adding that he had consulted the state legal advisor over this matter
"For PKR, so far no reports about any members leaving Harapan, so Penang situation is stable. Governor is also confident about the situation in Penang," he adds
Bersatu contested the seats in Bertam (Khalid Mehtab) and Teluk Bahang (Zulkifli Lazim) under PKR ticket in the 2018 general election
"However, there is no hurry to vacate the seats since the situation at the federal level remains unclear," Chow says
He is scheduled to meet the Agong tomorrow

It is learnt that the entourage comes from PWTC
Some PAS and MCA MPs are also believed to be in the entourage
