Two Mil Vehicles Returning To Kelantan Netizens Mock The State For The Lack Of Opportunities

THE online community has always been a creative and interesting bunch. After all, it takes both of these qualities to turn even the most boring news piece into utter mockery.
Recently, Bulletin TV3 on the X social media platform forecasted over two mil vehicles returning to Kelantan for Hari Raya.
In hindsight, it appears as another statistic to be mulled over by the traffic police perhaps or some forward thinking town planner.
But take it from our fellow netizens who saw it as an indication that Kelantan is underperforming as a state. The result is comedy and a certain degree of political introspection.
“Two million citizens of Kelantan return to their hometown, but until today, Kelantan does not have a highway. This is sad,” said netizen @MatDani_ to which some netizens replied that it was alright as they used the road only once per year.

Then there was @mraaj89 who said the foreigners are returning as their minister failed to give them job opportunities. His thoughts were echoed by @AbdulMu52303682.

Another netizen added that these Kelantanese people come searching for jobs in some other people’s place while making trouble there, at the same time, exhorting their virtue as holy people.
@XRISFKI further cautioned the road users not to dispose of their garbage at the side of the road during the traffic jam.
Then there was team Kelantan to counter all the negativity. @noraakira wondered why people loved to analyse Kelantan compared to the other states.
One netizen lamented that if the title of the news was about vehicles entering Johor or Perak, the comments would not be like this.
@kasyabelike12 further pointed out the doctors, contractors and engineers among the two million vehicles which helped to develop the Klang Valley. “Stop the hate,” he said for good measure.

Away from all the hate, road transport department (Kelantan) director Mohd Misuari Abdullah said that the entry involves three routes into Kelantan, namely Pasir Puteh, Gua Musang, and Jeli.
He said traffic is expected to be congested on all routes starting from 28th March, as most people have already begun their holiday.
At the same time, he said a total of 187 officers and enforcement personnel will be stationed at specific locations to monitor traffic conditions. — Focus Malaysia
