THE red carpet glittered at GSC LaLaport BBCC as Thousands of Years Media (ToYm) premiered its second Chinese micro drama, Reborn & Revenge.
The premiere featured a glamorous red-carpet walk-in and photo session where celebrities and cast members including Yumi Wong, Chin Poi, Eric, Chai Zi, Sherwyn, Xin Yi, Jayden, Kang Xin and Wei Wei made their appearances.
The star-studded event underscored ToYm’s vision of pioneering Malaysia’s micro drama industry and further cementing its position as a leading player in creative entertainment.
“Reborn & Revenge marks another proud milestone for ToYm as we continue to champion the micro drama format in Malaysia,” enthused ToYm founder Datuk Wira Jment Lim.
“This production features several exciting firsts for us. It’s Yumi Wong’s first micro drama role; the on-screen debut of our Shining Star Idol champions Xin Yi and Tian Jia alongside Jayden, and our first use of AI to compose an original theme song.”\

In Malaysia, our debut production In Character has accumulated over 30 million views, proving that micro dramas have become an increasingly popular new form of entertainment among local audiences,” envisages the founder of SunStrong Entertainment.

For Xin Yi who plays Lin Xiao Yue, the experience marks her screen debut after winning ToYm’s Shining Star Idol Competition earlier this year. “I feel incredibly honoured and excited to be making my screen debut in Reborn & Revenge,” she shared.
