Termination Of Rhb Staff Who Shared Doctored Image Of Pmx In Israeli Flag Saree A Precious Lesson To All Pas Diehards

RHB Banking Group which came under heavy fire for the despicable action of a Kedah-based staff who shared a Facebook Story a photoshopped image of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim donning an Israeli flag saree has earned all-round kudos for having axed the opposition-slant staff.
“RHB has concluded its internal investigation into the matter. The individual involved is no longer employed by RHB effective Oct 31,” read the media statement by Malaysia’s fourth-largest financial services group by total assets.
“At RHB, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and mutual respect across all our interactions. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any behaviour that contravenes our Code of Ethics and Conduct.”
This is despite the Kulim Barat staff who identified herself as Siti Nurziswanis Mohd Zain having issued an open apology to PMX for re-posting the damning image from “the account of putsz”.

In fact, RHB’s latest action has spurred Madani backers to forewarn all PAS hardcore supporters not to be misled by the Islamist party’s “scamming propaganda”.
“I don’t blame her 100% … This beautiful woman is actually among those who’re incited by the propaganda of narrow-minded, racist politics,” observed former editor Norman Radzuan in a Facebook reaction to the staff’s sacking by her employer.
“Based on my research – those I know or that done by the team – these people tend to go overboard or what we call palatao (slang to depict someone who pretends to know more than they do) are those who aren’t politicians.
“They’re oblivious to the ill extent of the political game. Their hearts are closed to hearing the truth. They believe that people who wear robes and turbans are good, pious or speak the truth.”
Added Norman: “That’s how fence-sitters are prone to become extremists because they are indoctrinated every day by politicians who fool the people.
“She realised her mistake for she has been deceived by the evil politician but unfortunately it was too late. Just don’t insult this woman as she’s one of those who are victims of racial hatred orchestrated by the narrow opposition politics. Just treat this as a lesson to others.”
Such sentiment was echoed by Mohd Firdaus Jailan who is the founder of Direktori Bisnes, the Malay language business directory:
“She’s actually a victim of extreme and narrow political propaganda. Others should take a lesson from her. Don’t allow your fingers be faster than your brain.”
In essence, the incident should serve as a lesson for everyone to think twice – or even thrice – before posting or sharing any ill-conceived information on social media platforms.
“This makes us more careful in every action we take … every action we take symbolises who we’re, who our family is, who our employer is and who is around us … hopefully, this will be a lesson for all of us.”
