State Elections Bn Candidates Will Stick To Our Logo Zahid Says

BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said that his coalition would be using its own logo to contest in the upcoming state elections.
"We will establish cooperation between the existing political parties, but BN candidates will continue to use the BN symbol in the election for the six states," Bernama reported him as saying at a press conference after visiting the Department of Orang Asli Development (Jakoa) today.
Zahid (above) also said the preparation for the elections involving six states will be discussed in the unity government’s secretariat meeting.
“Talks on the seat allocation among the parties within the unity government has begun but nothing has been finalised,” the Umno president added.
The six states that will hold elections this year are Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Selangor, Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah.
On related matter, Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari took to Facebook yesterday saying that an agreement was reached during an afternoon tea session in Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with the 261st Conference of Rulers meeting which convened for two days starting yesterday.
Amirudin said the understanding will be discussed at the respective party level before being presented for consent from the Sultans, Yang di-Pertuan Besar and the governor.
In the same message, Amirudin also shared a photo of him together with Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun, Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, Terengganu Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and Kelantan Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob.
Meanwhile, Sanusi, who also uploaded a photo of the meeting in his Facebook post, said he believed the most suitable date for the dissolution of the state assemblies is the third or fourth week of June.
Chow said in a Facebook post: "As for the date of the state election, it is the constitutional responsibility of the Election Commission to make a decision."
