Siti Kasim Don T Blame The Racist Corn Seller He Learns From Akmal Pas And Other Ultra Malays

HUMAN rights activist and lawyer Siti Kasim has defended the corn seller who has since apologised for putting up a racist sales ban sign but instead blamed UMNO Youth chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh, PAS and other racist Malay politicians for the petty trader’s folly.
She sees the “Sorry, ini jagung tiada jual same Orang Keling” sign put up by the Sepang corn seller identified as Abdul Aziz Musa as none other than the outcome of “incessant provocation of anger in the minds of ordinary Malay folks” by political leaders.
“I believe the corn seller was not brought up to hate other races but was influenced by social media content,” fumed Siti Kasim in a YouTube video.
“If you’re in the Malay chat groups, you can see how the Chinese and Indians are being chastised; I know this for I’m in such groups to observe their behaviour and way of thinking.
“The corn seller is not alone for there are many Malays like him out there … I’m baffled because insofar as I’m concerned, Malays are gentle, humble polite and kind people but once they’re in social media, they would easily lupa diri (forget their origin) … Maybe they think that they’re selfless is social media.”
Siti Kasim further took a pot shot at Akmal whom she referred to as the “KK Mart socks hero” for having demanded the authorities to mete out harsh punishment against the corn seller instead of merely allowing him to get away by apologising.
“Hello Akmal. You’re a (medical) doctor with high education compared to the corn seller who’s just a lowly-educated petty trader,” chided the Orang Asli advocate.
“He has an excuse in that his low education level makes him easily influenced by hatred cultivated by people like you or PAS who tend to demonise non-Muslims as kafir (infidel).
“As a leader, you’ve thus far been showing a very bad example to the Malays as evident from comments emanating from your fanbase who look up to you as the Malay champion of sorts.
“But the reality is that you’re not a Malay or Muslim champion … Don’t try to show that you’re being fair and square here by wanting action to be taken against this poor corn seller.
“As a leader, you should be a role model … You shouldn’t be using your influence to inculcate hatred towards other races in the course of gaining political mileage.”
Vindicating the corn seller, Siti Kasim contended that “it’s pointless to take action against the corn seller as he was inspired by adverse influences”.
“Honestly, we should bar politicians from interfering in religious matters given that to the Malays, for example, religion is closely knitted to race,” she stressed.
Hence, there’s a need for the country’s leadership to start evaluating its unity policy while looking into the conduct of politicians.

The bottom line is that there is a pressing need to educate the masses from all races and religious backgrounds on the meaning of respect, human rights and loving each other without the involvement of religion as the moral base or foundation.
Whatever the case is, Siti Kasim cannot fathom why the Malays “are relentlessly besieged by one problem after another, ie from socks to food and various aspects of life”.
“It’s all about upsetting the Malays as if the world revolves around them, no thanks to the politicians who incite racial hatred in them,” she asserted.
“The root cause of racial hatred is none other than Malay political leaders themselves because their non-Malay counterparts have no balls to say aloud or have to cakap berlapik (speak in politically correct tone) with the exception of a few who suddenly exploded.
“At the end of the day, there must be political will to stop the rot right now for we’ve a serious systemic problem that needs quick solution lest expect the country to screw up big time 10 years from now.” – Focus Malaysia
