They will be able to come to you for advice and opinions on matters that concern their health. Especially in the era of misinformation, you should be able to convince them of the rights and wrongs of the information they gather from elsewhere. 
You are comfortable with building relationships 
Another part of your job is to ensure that you can build relationships with your patients. You should be able to do this because your practice depends on it. If you are comfortable with interacting with them through shared jokes, history and stories, you can establish a relationship with them that will last. Plus, they will bring their children, and soon you’ll have generations of the same family at your doorstep. 
You enjoy solving problems
If you enjoy investigative work and solving problems, being a family doctor might be the perfect job for you. As mentioned before, you will be caring for people of all ages and backgrounds. So, sometimes you need to cultivate a plan that is appropriate for their financial situations while ensuring that it deals with their ailments. This can be quite a challenge, because healthcare is not cheap, but if you intend on taking care of your patients, you need to figure a way around it.
