Ppbm Wants A Police State
JUST a heading, not ammounting to suggestions that Bersatu or PPBM wants a police state in Malaysia.
However, the conduct of some of its members and leaders are inclining towards it. By lodging police reports of Najib's movement in the country, with his presence in Dr M's contituency of Langkawi, indicates how naive they are about laws and order with regard to politics.
Most annoying is the tight lips of Bersatu leaders itself over such intimidation.
I remember how Dr M himself claimed of being a subject of the 'police surveillance' during Pah Lah as the prime minister. If its true, its not fair at all to vent his retaliation on Najib.
Not only that. I was told Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and a few party leaders are on the police binocular too. With court cases still pending, they are treated like 'free crooks' by the government and the police.
An MP, infamous for his 'if I am God' catchline, said recently that many people have asked him questions as to why Najib has yet to be 'put inside'. And I concur with his answer that he remains innocence until proven guilty.
But Bersatu - a runaway party from Umno - is implicating that Najib is already guilty. The same goes with some factions in Umno that Zahid is already not fit to lead the party because of his court cases.
And so, Bersatu member ex-minister Rais Yatim took those who lodged reports against Najib to task, by telling the party not to 'disturb' Najib and leave it to the court to decide.
I however, expect more to come. When Najib revealed how two judges in his case persuaded him to put a halt to his political activities as a 'kautim' to his charges, I am beginning to doubt Pakatan government under Dr M.
Looks like they'll do anything to keep him in Putrajaya. Speculation about Anwar becoming the next PM is getting elusive, let alone thinking about the possibility of Wan Azizah handing over her seat for her hubby 'preparation' to the helm.
And with more police reports lodged by PPBM against the criticism against Dr M and the government, I can't help but thinking of Maduro in Venezuela!
I hope Bersatu members are not so fanatic. They must use their head wisely. Don't become bloody fools...
