Pas Stop Blaming Non Malays For Everything
YOURSAY | ‘Marzuk made uncalled statements which could hurt the peace of this country.’
DAP slams PAS MP for likening M'sia to Palestine, calls remarks 'extreme'
Robbie98: Mr PAS leader, Pengkalan Chepa MP Ahmad Marzuk Shaary, thank you for your nice Deepavali greetings.
Maybe one day you will find time to read the history of Palestine and interpret what you read in an unbiased manner.
The problems you see in Malaysia, where non-Malays make up less than 30 percent of the population and the Malays control the government and all regulatory authorities, are not comparable to Palestine as you see it.
Look up the definition of rent seeking and Alibaba trading, which can only produce short-term benefits.
The non-Malays know that the only way to survive is to work hard to achieve their goal.
Why are you blaming them for their survival act? Do not spread hate blindly. Yes, I understand your political ambitions.
PurpleMoose5046: What's with you Marzuk? Isn't our Merdeka for all Malaysians and not solely for the Malays only!
He may be excused as he was born in the year 1975, more than 20 years after Merdeka!
It is possible he didn't study Malaysian history, but focused on the history of Palestine instead.
6th Generation Immigrant: Just in the same abusive and derogatory tone, this so-called PAS philosopher must expand his statement on why "the economic sector is increasingly dominated by non-Muslim and non-bumiputera" when almost every single project, scheme, preferential advancements, close tenders, governemnt-linked companies, specifically acquired shares of public companies and so on, promoted and derived by the ruling Malay Muslim and bumiputera governments (since 1969 to this day) have all failed to uplift the Malay and Muslim bumiputera.
PAS should instead look within, whether people similar to this philosopher can be trained at all, like the number of Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Indonesian, Pakistanis and other races, taking over the Malay Muslim and bumiputera businesses – surely they have successfully grabbed all the efforts meant for the nation's Malay and Muslim bumiputera.
Hmmm: Come to think of it, what PAS said is actually quite true, but not in the way that he described. Our country is quite like Palestine.
There is "genocide" going on. When an employer doesn't like you, they will put up all kinds of obstacles in front of you.
He will either give you all the toughest assignments or not give you anything to do at all, and pass you for promotions until you get fed up and leave on your own accord.
This is called “constructive dismissal” and is against labour law.
Similar things are happening to the non-Malays here.
The government puts all kinds of obstacles in front of them, depriving them of scholarships or places in the local universities, jobs in the civil service, contracts and so on, until they are fed up and leave the country voluntarily.
I guess we can term this “constructive genocide”. No doubt nobody is actually killed, but the result is the same.
Millions of non-Malays have already left the country. PAS continues to pile on the pressure by claiming that the non-Malays are taking over the country to force more to leave.
UB40: Police reports need to be filed as Marzuk's statements seemed seditious. He did not provide evidence but made uncalled statements which could hurt the peace of this country.
He has forgotten that non-Malays have contributed so much in terms of taxes after independence, which have benefited many people.
Coward: I know what PAS will say: it's his personal opinion.
This is the proverbial "nothing to do with me" attitude that allows them to "sweep it under the carpet" instead of tackling the underlying racism in the party.
As for the individual involved, as it is becoming too difficult to argue "the media misquoted me" because it was screenshot in its entirety for all to see, he will argue he was misunderstood.
Poor soul.
NMSparks: Whose behaviour is increasingly becoming like Israel?
The very thing that they hate so much is the very thing that they are increasingly becoming.
On a separate note, let's take the plight of the Orang Asli and the natives of Sabah and Sarawak.
Just imagine if they had fought in the same vigour as the Palestinians. Who then would have become like Israel?
Shadowplay: That's why even Singapore needs to speak out against PAS.
A party (and also another one) that has no idea how to bring up the competitiveness of the Malays against other rakyat who are not favoured by the government in charge.
All these ultras can do is play up racial sentiments.
VioletOrca0545: It’s so simple to blame your own failure in life on others.
I am poor because of the rich, I am uneducated because of the educated, I am sad because others are happy.
What is worse after all this? A superhero politician that I support will make this living hell become heaven.
Truthfully, speechless with the mindset that some Malaysians have.
Kunta kinte: I will be dumbfounded if there are still non-Malays who think PAS deserve their support. Isn't it obvious enough?
Truly Malaysian: Unlike Malaysia, in Palestine, the people are not entitled from cradle to grave. - Mkini
