Pakatan Harapan S Use Of Racism As A Political Weapon
So, if DAP, PKR and Pakatan Harapan can attack issues related to Malay interests, Malay rights and Islam, and label those people who talk about these issues as racists, extremists and Talibans, that would leave Umno and PAS with nothing to talk about. Unless Umno and PAS talk about Malay interests, Malay rights and Islam, what else do they have to talk about?
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
There is this “non-white” restaurant I know that keeps throwing its rubbish into its neighbour’s dustbin. (In the UK, commercial waste is collected by private companies and you need to pay quite a bit of money for this service).
When the bin is full, they throw the rubbish on the ground surrounding the bin. (You can tell who owns that rubbish because “white” restaurants sell different food from “non-white” restaurants).
Because of this pollution, there would be rat infestation. The Council then comes round to issue summons (and may even close down the restaurant) even though that rubbish belongs to the neighbour and not to the restaurant being penalised.
Why is this state of affairs allowed to continue? Well, it is not that the “white” restaurant owner did not confront the “non-white” restaurant owner. It is just that, when he did, he was accused of being a racist and in the UK being accused of being a racist makes you a pariah.
Allegations of racism is the refuge of scoundrels. It allows scoundrels to get away with many things because the person who is really the victim is seen as the perpetrator. Hence victims do not dare take up the issue lest they be seen as pariahs and the perpetrator would be seen as the victim instead.
“White” police in the UK have to be careful about arresting “non-white” criminals even when they are armed with weapons
This is the trend in London and all over the UK today. “White” police officers are scared of doing a stop-and-search of “non-whites” suspected of carrying a weapon — because if they do they will be accused of racism or “racial profiling”. Hence stabbing and even shooting cases amongst kids and youths, especially in London, is a very serious problem.
(The “good” thing about the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic is that street crimes and murders have reduced a bit because of the lockdown. But then domestic violence has spiralled like crazy — maybe because since you cannot stab or shoot strangers on the streets you do it to your own family members).
Actually, “white” police officers arrest more “white” perpetrators but then they make it seem like more “non-whites” than “whites” are arrested. And when a “non-white” is stopped or arrested in London, a crowd (of “whites” and “non-whites”) quickly builds up and the police officers are surrounded and there would be screams of racism. (This does not happen if the person being stopped or arrested is “white”).
White police officers have to be careful when arresting non-white criminals
Imagine this scenario:
Lady: Police! Help! Some people are trying to break into my house. I can hear them at the back of my house.
Police: Are they white or non-white? And if not-white, are they African, Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, or some other Asian race?
Lady: I don’t know! I can’t see them. I can only hear them.
Police: Well, we cannot send any police officers until we know the race of those people trying to break into your house because we have to send police officers of the same race. Please call us back when you can confirm the race of the robbers.
Those who support Chinese schools are not racists, those who oppose it are, says DAP
Yes, racism or allegations of racism is a very powerful weapon. It frightens people from talking or acting. And this is DAP’s, PKR’s and Pakatan Harapan’s weapon. They accuse Umno (and now PAS as well) of racism/extremism (meaning Ketuanan Melayu and/or Ketuanan Islam) to stop Umno from talking about Malay interests or Malay rights.
Even Pakatan Harapan Malays such as Anwar Ibrahim, Mat Sabu, Khalid Samad, and many more, use this race card, or allegations of racism, to silence Umno and Muafakat Nasional.
DAP, PKR and Pakatan Harapan “own” issues such as democracy, civil liberties, transparency, good governance, gay rights, Malaysian Malaysia, Chinese language, Chinese schools, Chinese education, opposition to Ketuanan Melayu and the Sharia-Hudud, an end to the NEP and Article 153 of the Constitution, and many more.
And DAP, PKR and Pakatan Harapan can “own” these issues because they are the opposition and those are opposition issues. The government (meaning Umno and PAS) cannot take up those issues.
Umno and PAS must not be scared of talking about the Malays and Islam
Hence Umno will have to use the Malay interests and Malay rights issue while PAS has to use issues related to Islam. Umno and PAS are the government so they cannot propagate opposition issues such as democracy, civil liberties, transparency, good governance, gay rights, Malaysian Malaysia, Chinese language, Chinese schools, Chinese education, opposition to Ketuanan Melayu and the Sharia-Hudud, an end to the NEP and Article 153 of the Constitution, etc.
That is the strategy adopted by DAP, PKR and Pakatan Harapan. They are even able to label those who oppose Chinese language, Chinese schools and Chinese education as racists so that those who propagate or support Chinese language, Chinese schools and Chinese education can escape being called racists.
