Over 500k Missing Digital Vaccine Cert Complaints Resolved Kj

Developers of the MySejahtera application had in the past one week resolved more than 500,000 complaints from individuals who did not receive their Covid-19 digital vaccination certificate after completing the second dose, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said today.
Speaking in Kedah after attending a meeting of the state Covid-19 Immunisation Taskforce, Khairy said he had also instructed developers to expedite resolving another remaining 200,000 complaints.
“I have instructed MySejahtera to also monitor social media and respond to any related complaints,” said Khairy during a press conference with Kedah Mentri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
Khairy in a statement also listed several identified reasons for a person’s digital certificate to not be displayed in their MySejahtera application.
This includes the person being a vaccine dependent and so the MySejahtera account owner must remove them from their list, so the person could register an account on their own device.
He said there were also instances where the MySejahtera account owner was found to not have verified their MyKad number and personal details.

For individuals with multiple MySejahtera accounts, Khairy said the digital vaccine certificate will only be displayed on the device used when receiving the vaccine.

From the over 500,000 complaints, he said 71,408 cases were caused by vaccine administering centres (PPVs) that did not complete their documentation process after administering the vaccine.
“For this issue, MySejahtera is coordinating with the PPV to ensure users will receive their digital vaccine certificates.
“I would also like to remind PPV staff to check and ensure all vaccine recipients have received their digital certificates before leaving the PPV,” he said.
The same problem was also found among recipients vaccinated in PPVs that did not use the MySejahtera application, Khairy added.
In the meantime, Khairy said individuals who are fully vaccinated but have yet to receive a digital certificate in their MySejahtera application will be allowed to use their physical certificate to access any facilities open to them. - Mkini
