Our Postmen Are Clean

I PERSONALLY sympathize with Pos Malaysia, notably our postmen who came under unscrupulous remarks by some people during this hard times of Covid-19 pandemic.

The postmen were accused as spreading the virus by spitting on letters delivered to some premises. Worse still, they did that over 'instruction' from the top management. What a bad disposition! It reflects how skunk the mind of those people are!

Pity them since they were put under askance by some parties, especially those who receive letters and parcels daily.

I would like to come to Pos Malaysia defence. The courier company has denied this and assured customers that their services, including Pos Laju, are running as usual for the benefit of all customers, specifically Malaysians.

When other courier companies are halting or operating at below pace during this difficult time, Pos Malaysia takes up full responsibility in ensuring that delivery reach your doorsteps on time.

So, why must you subject them to slander?

Our postmen are carrying out their job with cautious and take every precaution so that the letters and parcels are not contaminated. They wear face masks, hand gloves and always carry hand sanitizer as regulated by the Health Ministry.

There is no slim chance at all for your letters and parcels to contract Covid-19 virus. Have you ever heard of any such case involving postmen or postal workers? This is because all necessary health measures are observed before the postmen hit the streets to avoid becoming agents of the virus.

So, please understand and appreciate them.
