IS IT alright for unmarried couples to live in the same house, aka cohabitating? For the non-muslim couples, this is an easy question. 
But for the Muslims, now things can get rather complicated, perhaps more complicated than solving a rubik’s cube blindfolded.
Recently, a netizen went viral with a post asking the online community about their opinion regarding unmarried couples who were living in the same house, as though they were husband and wife. Or for a better word, husband and wife trial version.

According to netizen @rausyanfikir24, it was okay to do so as it allows the couple to know each other better before marriage.
On a comedy note, and perhaps with a pinch of sarcasm, @asyraf_danial14 said they could use the hugging pillows as an obstacle.

Another netizen revealed that many people do it, choosing condominiums as a home as these properties are less likely to be rushed by the religious authorities.
His words were echoed by @MuhammadGadafi saying this was especially true in Shah Alam and Petaling Jaya. “Especially condominiums. More privacy,” he said.
@toburuzz added that he once experienced culture shock working in Kuala Lumpur since his Malay friends, and wearing a hijab, could stay in the same house as their boyfriends.

One netizen further claimed she had a friend who does the same too, with the exception that they slept in separate rooms.
Apparently the arrangement was so that they could observe if their lifestyles align before committing to each other.
