Netizens Divided Over Palestinian Lady Who Apologised For Causing Ruckus At Wisma Transit

IF Malaysians have a reason to loathe the influx of migrants into our soil, then the recent viral news of two Palestinian ladies causing a ruckus at Wisma Transit, Kuala Lumpur would be an added point.
But will hearts soften with the latest video on X which showed one of the ladies apologising profusely?

In the video, the lady who identified herself as Aminah Muhamad Rafi Jamal Abdul Rabbah explained that she had three children who died in the war in Gaza.
She added that she had more children there and was unable to communicate with them. 
Aminah also said in the video that she was very thankful towards the hospitality extended by Malaysia and hoped that people could understand the hardship they were going through.
The Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia, Walid Abu Ali, had since clarified that the altercation occurred due to the woman’s frustration at not being allowed to leave the centre freely for security reasons.
If the situation was previously skewed negatively towards the lady, netizens are now divided in their opinion. 
According to netizen NK, this is a propaganda disguised in the form of a child, no doubt referring to the injured child playing on her lap.

Another netizen said Malaysia should apologise instead for using them as a cheap publicity for Anwar.

Netizen Iwans said it was stressful enough staying in a hospital for a day while these people were dying here and there for years.

Hanis suggested that perhaps her outburst was due to her not wanting to stay for an extended period since she had family members in Gaza.

Undoubtedly the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is a complicated one. Where war, suffering and death mingle, people who arrive from such places may be in a mental state to act emotionally.
