However, the defence's lead counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah requested the court to allow them to recall the witness if needed later, as they expect to have further questions for him after the AmBank relationship managers are called to testify in court
DPP V Sithambaram then tells the court that since the defence has completed their cross-examination, they would have to satisfy the court with reasons should the latter wants to recall the witness
Sithambaram then continues by re-examining the witness with several questions on exhibits tendered in the court
Shuzairizman was then released from the witness stand before the court goes to a short break
The prosecution is expected to call its next witness to the stand after the break

Under cross-examination by defence lawyer Harvinderjit Singh, the digital forensics analyst testifies on a data extraction report from Joanna's Blackberry device confiscated by the central bank on July 2015
According to his testimony, Joanna and Terrence had chatted on Blackberry Messenger between 2.32am and 8.33am on Feb 5, 2015, among which they had a discussion about an AmIslamic Bank account ending with the number 880
For the record, the bank account ending in 880 mentioned in the chat had been established earlier during the trial as Najib's private banking account
In the chat messages, Joanna also mentioned a person whom she referred to as 'Nik', when she was telling Terrence that she "was trying to get Nik to email request but he is not in"
It is believed that she was referring to former SRC International CEO Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil

These reports concern a Blackberry phone seized from AmBank's then-relationship manager Joanna Yu, among others
As proceedings resume before Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali, the prosecution may also update the court over lead defence counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah's allegation that Najib was denied access to information on his own AmBank accounts. - Mkini
