Muhyiddin S Noise Proof Ability To Filter Bersatu Ruckus While Delivering President S Address Is A Skill

WHETHER one likes Bersatu or otherwise, one surely must take one’s hat off for Bersatu president Tan Sri Mujyiddin Yassin for being oblivious to a commotion sparked by disgruntled party members during his keynote speech on Saturday’s (Sept 7) Bersatu eighth annual general meeting (AGM).
Despite the chaos and din from the ruckus believed to involve delegates who were unhappy with the president’s address, the Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman remained fully focused on delivering his speech.
Muhyiddin’s ‘ability to filter the scuffle has surely fascinated many political observers.
“I found it funny that he can still carry on with his speech while the hall was in chaos. As if nothing happened,” opined self-proclaimed e-hailing driver and avid badminton fan Alawiyah Yussof (@AlawiyahYussof).

This reminds me of when he was the PM, giving Perutusan Khas, reading from a PDF script, ignoring the ‘noises’ outside.
Yesterday’s was a testament of this.

“This reminds me of when he was the PM8 giving the Perutusan Khas (special message), reading from a PDF script while ignoring the ‘noises’ outside. Yesterday’s (Sept 7) was a testament of this.”
In a subsequent post, the PKR-inclined poster further reminded Muhyiddin that karma would eventually catch up with him after the 78-year-old Pagoh MP alleged that there has been a conspiracy to oust him as Bersatu president.
‘Just as you betrayed the rakyat‘s mandate with the Sheraton Move, you too will be destroyed in the hands of other traitors,” she recounted.

“Given your advanced age, you should give those who’re younger and healthier a chance to take charge. Don’t let greed have the better of us till our death.”
Whatever the case is, it is undeniable that Muhyiddin is likely facing an uphill task in the days ahead given that 120 or almost 60% out of its 202 divisions nationwide want his deputy Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin to assume the party’s presidency.
As per the admission of the party’s Youth chief Hilman Idham, Muhyiddin was left embarrassed with the commotion incident as it has tarnished Bersatu’s image (this has led to detractors labelling the party as “Berpecah” [literally, “split”]).
“Muhyiddin texted in the party’s Supreme Council WhatsApp group that the incident was ‘very embarrassing’,” Hilman told delegates during his winding-up speech on Sunday (Sept 7).

“What happened last night, we can’t deny. The media saw everything. We must take responsibility because we disappointed our president yesterday.”
In the meantime, the police have opened an investigation paper regarding the commotion that occurred at the IDCC Convention Centre in Section 15 Shah Alam.
Shah Alam District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said that his department had previously received a report from a man, the party’s security chief, regarding the incident at 12.18am on Sunday (Sept 7). – Focus Malaysia
