Muhyiddin Pn Can Fix Country Do Better Than Unity Govt

(NST): Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin claims that Perikatan Nasional (PN), if given the chance, could govern the country better than the unity government and “fix the situation.”
The PN chairman, who is also Bersatu president, said the political bloc had proven its capabilities in leading the country during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The former prime minister said that although there was no reference for the government to manage the pandemic, it did its best to mitigate the adverse impact from the spread of the virus.
“At the time, there was no treatment, no vaccine, yet we were facing a serious pandemic.

“We eventually managed to handle and resolve the situation including saving the country’s economy,” he said in his speech at a breaking of fast event with the media hosted by Bersatu here today.
Muhyiddin added that until today, people still come up to him, thanking him for the initiatives introduced by the PN government, such as the loan moratorium and the special Employees Provident Fund (EPF) withdrawal.
“There were questions about whether PN is ready to govern or be a government in waiting. Say no more — we are ready anytime.
“Of course, we have to follow the democratic process.
“If we are given the chance, we will fix the situation. There are certain matters, where we have the answers.
“As such, give us the chance to govern the country, and we will prove ourselves to Malaysia.
“And we can perform better than PH (Pakatan Harapan),” he said.
