WEST PAPUA:
MILITARY OPERATIONS IN NDUGA DISTRICT 2018-2019

1. Introduction
We must admit honestly and openly convey it. The Indonesian government is indeed a cruel and brutal modern colonialist or real in front of our eyes, nose and face who are occupying, colonizing, oppressing and destroying the people and people of West Papua by using the power of the State, the Indonesian National Army.
Cruelty, brutality, atrocities and crimes of humanity that demean human dignity as God's image and likeness must be resisted. Demons and Satan with human faces who are masked in the name of security and national interests must be opposed. We must not be spectators for this atrocity. By faith, it is very sinful and ethically very wrong if we allow this State crime to take over the lives of God's people on their ancestral lands.
The report released by Koran Tempo on the 8-14 April 2019 edition provides a clear picture of the Indonesian government's atrocities and cruelty through TNI forces.
The report from the Tempo newspaper, which was interviewed by Second Lieutenant Deddy Santoso, which operates in Yigi District as follows:
"Yigi District is so quiet. There are no signs of life in the northern region of Nduga district, Papua. The Honai-honai is leaping, the fields are deserted. There are no residents passing by. Their livestock, pigs and chickens are also not seen hanging around. the first hill that became the entrance to Yigi, dozens of TNI personnel occupied four houses belonging to PT Istaka Karya, a company that built the Trans Papua road / bridge in the Nduga region, and the district had long been abandoned by residents, besides the Yigi District, Dal, Bulmu, Yalma and Gunung districts. Tabo has been occupied by the TNI. "

In the report of Koran Tempo, Commander of Military Operations in Nduga, Kol. Jonathan Binsar Parluhutan Sianipar and Battalion Commander in Nduga District, Major Deri Indrawan in the same vein that the TNI has mastered Dal, Bulmu, Yalma and Mount Tabo Districts.
This report has become clear to all of us that there is a massive military operation in N Regency. This is a crime against humanity committed by the State.
2. Is there also a gold field in Nduga?
It does not make our logic just because the 17 employees of PT Istaka Karya who were shot dead by the Free Papua Organization (OPM) on December 2, 2018 there was a massive military operation on the orders of the Indonesian president, Ir. Joko Widodo is questionable.
Why is it only because of the victims of the 17 people, the Indonesian military operations on a large, broad and massive scale using helicopters and 600 TNI troops in Nduga district?
The result of Indonesian military operations caused violence and state crime before the naked eye. Nearly 19 civilians were shot dead, including a senior pastor from the region.
The people as landowners were expelled by the TNI and they fled to the forests and to other areas that were felt safe. Their houses are empty. Their gardens are not well maintained. Health is not well taken care of. Education for children is a mess and as a result children have lost their future.
It seems that the State has a veiled mission to expel Nduga natives as indigenous landowners and vacate the territory using the TNI. The country's hidden mission is that in the future the Indonesian colonial government will open a gold mine in the Nduga region.
Previously, the State had to evict, even if necessary, to eliminate and destroy the indigenous population.
It could be, the Trans Papua road built by the TNI in Kab. It is also supposed to be for the mobilization of heavy equipment to operate gold mines in the earth's belly Ndugama.
3. The TNI Business Land in East Timor and Aceh Has Been Lost
So far, the TNI's land to strengthen the enclaves is three regions. East Timor (now: Timor Leste), Aceh and West Papua. These three territories the generals always manage as conflict areas so that there is additional income, promotion and promotion.
Two regions, East Timor and Aceh have disappeared and now live in West Papua. So, the readers of this article should not be surprised, the Commander of the XVII Cenderawasih did not want to withdraw the TNI troops who were operating in Kab. Nuga also for two reasons: TNI is working on the Trans Papua road and is still chasing OPM in the forest.
Whatever the reason, military operations that sacrifice small people and are expelled from their ancestral lands constitute humanitarian crimes and gross violations of human rights.
