Just Shut Up Fahmi Tells Sanusi
Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil has advised Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor to focus on his duties as Kedah menteri besar instead of meddling in the political affairs of other states.
Speaking to reporters today, Fahmi (above, left) described the Perikatan Nasional election director as someone who talks more than actually doing his job.
"I think it is better that he keeps himself busy with completing whatever projects he has announced in Kedah rather than being a busybody in other states. He talks a lot but many (of his projects) were incomplete.
"He is the opposite of the Selangor menteri besar who makes sure all promises are kept. On top of this, the Kedah menteri besar also has a sedition case related to the Selangor sultan (over comments Sanusi made).
"I think Sanusi should just shut up," Fahmi said during a press conference in Kuala Lumpur earlier today.
The federal government spokesperson was commenting on Sanusi's remarks yesterday that PN wants to shatter the "cracked" relations between parties in government.
Sanusi was referring to MCA and MIC’s decision to sit out the campaign activities for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election if the candidate chosen to represent the coalition government does not come from BN.
"Their relationship is already cracked, so we will work towards making it worse. This is politics," he told reporters after a PN leadership meeting in Kuala Lumpur last night, without further details.
Two days ago, PN chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin called on MCA and MIC to lend their support to the opposition coalition instead. - Mkini
