It Was Syed Hamid Not Pak Lah Who Sabotaged Najib

It was not until seven years later in 2015 that I understood why Syed Hamid wanted to damage Najib by asking the police to leak my SD and why he detained me under the ISA in September 2008 and tried to detain me a second time in February 2009. Since PM Pak Lah did not order my arrest, then people will assume it was DPM Najib who did. And that can only mean it was because Najib is guilty. Smart move! NO HOLDS BARRED

The move to block Najib from becoming the PM started way back in 2008 I received a number of phone calls and WhatsApp messages after my two articles:

These people felt there are many gaps in my story and that I am hiding some of the facts and am not revealing everything about the events of 2008. Okay, the questions are just too many so I will not bother to list them down here. Let me just get to the answers regarding the “gaps” in my story.
One often repeated question is: why did I fitnah Najib Tun Razak and Rosmah Mansor, why did I not check the veracity or authenticity of the evidence, why did I not sight the evidence first before preparing that Statutory Declaration?

Nik Azmi a.k.a. Bul Well, that has already been explained in the past and, in fact, in my signed statement to the police when they detained me under the Internal Security Act (ISA), this was what I said:
When Nik Azmi Nik Daud a.k.a. Bulat a.k.a. Bul first spoke to me in La Bordega, Bangsar, I did not put much weight on his story. My wife, Marina, in fact, said there is no way I should run that story as it sounds far-fetched. Hence, I did nothing.
After a week of silence, Bul called me for a second meeting at Selangor Club. He wanted to know why I had done nothing so far, and Marina told him she is the one who told me not to run the story because she felt it would expose me to danger.

John Pang used to work for Ku Li Bul then said he has the evidence, which is with the Military Intelligence, and if anything happens, such as the police arrest me, he will provide the evidence to back me up. There is no way they are going to allow me to get sent to jail, Bul said. But Marina was still not convinced.
Much to Marina’s displeasure, I told Bul I will run the story and he said, “No, not a story, an SD.” He wanted me to sign a Statutory Declaration, not just write a story, because the government can just ignore my story but they cannot ignore my SD, said Bul.
I then spoke to John Pang and asked him to verify Bul’s story with Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah a.k.a. Ku Li. John Pang came back and said Ku Li verified what Bul said. I also spoke to Din Merican and asked him to verify Bul’s story with Anwar Ibrahim — and Din said Anwar is aware of this matter and even personally knows the Military Intelligence officer concerned, Lt Kol Azmi Zainal Abidin.

Din Merican was working for Anwar at that time In fact, Din Merican published Malaysiakini’s story regarding this matter in his blog on 5th May 2009: RPK reveals his ‘source’ on Altantuya allegations (READ HERE).
I then spoke to two lawyers and both said the story would be considered hearsay so I must be very careful how I word my SD. I must not make any allegation against Najib or Rosmah as if I was there and witnessed what happened. At best, I can just say someone told me the story and ask the police to investigate that person concerned, not investigate Najib or Rosmah.
Hence this story was checked with two people whom I considered reliable — Ku Li and Anwar — plus I spoke to two lawyers (one who helped me prepare the SD and who sent it to the police). And I made sure, as the lawyers advised me, that I DID NOT allege anything against Najib or Rosmah (since I was not there at the scene of Altantuya Shaariibuu’s murder).

Why did Gan leak my SD when it was for his eyes only? Anyway, the SD I signed was private and confidential and only for the eyes of Superintendent Gan Tack Guan, the police officer who was investigating the Altantuya murder. So only he, Marina, and my two lawyers are supposed to know of this SD.
The shit hit the fan when suddenly my SD went viral on the internet. And that was when all hell broke loose.
So, what happened?
In November 2008, after the court ruled my detention illegal and ordered my release, I spoke to someone in Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s (a.k.a. Pak Lah) family and she told me that Pak Lah DID NOT order my arrest. In fact, Pak Lah was quite surprised when I was arrested. It seems the Home Affairs Minister, Syed Hamid Albar, was the one who ordered my arrest and who signed the detention order.
This was later (in 2010) confirmed by Bukit Aman.
In February 2009, Syed Hamid signed another detention order and someone in Bukit Aman warned me they were coming for me in a few days. And this time the detention order was “solid” and I was not going to escape a second time.
That was when Marina arranged for my escape (and she would not take “no” for an answer) and just 30 hours before the police arrived at my house I was already on the way to Thailand via Kuala Kedah, Langkawi, and then on to Phuket. (The police camped outside my house for three days waiting for me).

Team Mahathir and PPBM leader Syed Hamid ordered the police to leak my SD It did not occur to me then that it was Syed Hamid who order the police to leak my SD back in June 2008. And it did not occur to me until 2015 when Syed Hamid joined Team Mahathir to attack Najib in an attempt to bring him down.
Hence Syed Hamid was the real “hantu” in this whole thing. He wanted to block the then Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak from taking over from Prime Minister Pak Lah. So, he used the Altantuya story to sabotage Najib. And when Mahathir launched his move to oust Najib in 2015, Syed Hamid jumped into Team Mahathir.

Okay, this is my third piece on the matter, mainly in response to the many questions which you people have asked. I hope we can finally put this matter to rest and move on. It has already been 12 years and still many of you either have poor comprehension skills or sengaja buat tak paham. Berapa kali nak cerita benda yang sama?
