Six FRU trucks and a water cannon are still stationed near the Seafield temple in USJ25, Subang Jaya, today.SUBANG JAYA: Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun today visited the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple site in USJ25 here
Fuzi arrived at 3.50pm and met some of the devotees of the temple
He also visited the police tent erected there which acts as the command and control centre for security operations in the area in the wake of the riots that took place there early Monday and early Tuesday
However, Fuzi did not speak to pressmen. Pressmen have camped there since the riots broke out
Fuzi left about 10 minutes later
There is still a heavy presence of police and Federal Reserve Unit personnel although things have been calm since Wednesday

The rioting left six civilians, a policeman and a fireman injured. A number of properties were damaged
The fireman, Mohd Adib Mohd Kassim, 24, is currently receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur
Police said the problem arose after some hired thugs entered the temple, which is involved in a relocation dispute with a developer, early Monday. In the confrontation, several people were injured and vehicles torched

Selangor police chief Mazlan Mansor said another six individuals were detained today in connection with the rioting
This brings the total number of people arrested so far to 48
