Historical Bersatu Umno Dap Pas Nexus On The Cards
A few weeks back I wrote a blog post where I said that after the next General Elections, the DAP will nominate the next Prime Minister.
Well it looks like events have really moved much faster than what I "predicted", perhaps not as exactly but well within the ballpark.
The Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has indeed reached out to the "Opposition parties" - in particular to the DAP - to most likely form some form of a unity government.
Today a friend of mine suggested that I write an "Open Letter to the DAP and the Chinese Community" suggesting that the DAP do not miss this fantastic opportunity to not only work together with Bersatu, Umno (and yes even Pas) but to influence the entire course of this country's future.
It looks like this is what is happening now. Here is the news :

My comments : So it looks like it is already a fait accompli.
If it happens let it happen. I hope it really happens.
Can you imagine what type of impact this will have on the whole issue of building trust among the peoples of Malaysia? It is super high time that as a nation we all moved beyond the narrow confines of race, religion, language bla bla.
Even if this cooperation between Bersatu, Umno, Pas and the DAP lasts for just one week, or one month or one year it would be a major achievement not only in the maturity of our politics and our politicians but more importantly the coming into being of a more mature Malaysian society.
Do not waste this opportunity.
That is all I have to say for now. Its slightly late dinner time today and once again my good wife has cooked up something nice.
Here is some Sunday Nite Lite to commemorate the occassion:
Here is something even more funny. Pas has already reached out to Pas members to change their spots.
